Launch Of CBC Product

Launch of the 1st of is Kind CBC Centered Product for Schools

When the Competency Based Curriculum was rolled out in Kenya, there was a lot of uncertainty among key education players. Of major concern was the additional infrastructure the new system brought with it. The new CBC program called for all the existing primaries to have 1 extra classroom, 1 library, 1 laboratory, I workshops for arts and crafts, 1 home science workshop and I full ICT lab. These developments in the education sector offered a good opportunity for Yetu Sacco to differentiate itself from other saccos by packaging value preposition that address specific needs of the customers. With government financing public schools, the privately owned primary schools have to inject quite a huge capital to ensure that the infrastructure are in place. In line with the above, the Sacco has rolled out a bundle of products dubbed as CHUO LOAN. The product seeks to address the needs of the schools in line with the implementation of the new CBC requirements. The launch brought together the principles and proprietors of the private schools within Meru County. The products offer schools an ally of options such as Computer Lab Financing, School Asset Financing e.g., Buses as well School Bridging. CBC PRODUCT
